I never knew that Billy Strayhorn had written music for a production of Lorca's Don Perlimplín for The Artist's Theater! Maybe I'll have to write another book about Lorca.
That's the wonderful book I was reading yesterday. If I had known about this before the book was set in type it would have been a nice footnote at the very least.

According to Hajdu's Strayhorn biography, he wrote scores of songs that were never published or recorded.
