Mustache or Not?
Time to vote: Mustache or no mustache? What is your preferred look for one of your favorite bloggers?
With the mustache, you somewhat resemble Jeffrey Meyers. (From where I sit, not a good association.) But, as Thomas says, I'll continue to think of you as an abstract blogging function in the cloud, rather than a person with a physical lip, determinately ornamented.
I just went with my gut. But I've got to say that Vance really understands why the no-mustache look sits more easily with my image of the implied author of both Bemsha Swing and SMT.
Opinion is divided. I usually shave the mustache when I get tired of it, then grow it back when I get tired of the unshaved upper lip. I'll keep it off for now.

I think you look friendlier and more approachable without the mustache. That may not be something you want, of course.
i do want to look friendlier and possibly more youthful too.
In that case, no mustache all the way.
