This would be a very good dissertation topic, because it is very obvious that there is something there, and also very obvious that critics have skirted this issue while paying a lot of attention to Lorca, Cernuda, Gil de Biedma, Gil Albert and other gay male poets. The theory is already there, ready for your creative use.

There are book about women's poetry in Spain, but almost no acknowledgment of Lesbianism, the invisible difference. In comparison, the most closeted gay male poet is not closeted at all.
