"The very existence of poetry should make us laugh. What is it all about? What is it for?"
“El subtítulo ‘Modelo para armar’ podría llevar a creer que las
diferentes partes del relato, separadas por blancos, se proponen como piezas permutables.”
I've been meaning to ask you how you feel about Thomas Bernhard.
Not much. I don't have a strong opinion not having read anything recently. Were you thinking of something in particular I might be interested in?
Wittgenstein's Nephew is still my favorite, though the one about Gould is great. They're all pretty great, actually, if only mildly differentiated in their capacities to annihilate one's cheer. I mention him because I remember him using the "I'm not going to talk about x" "Well I guess I talked about x" trope that you deploy in your Arcade post. He does tend to go off the deep end in an unsettling way I keep trying to stop myself from characterizing as typically Austrian. What do I know about Austrians, other than world history, I mean.
