The new collective blog(s) Arcade are open to the public now. I am an Arcade author and am excited about it. I wrote a few posts during the development phase, when it was closed to outsiders. Check it out and let me know what you think.
That's good! I was thinking, though, of the rate of contributions. Right now, postings are going up at a rate of one every three or four days, and there are hardly any comments. I think the authors will have to prime the pump.
I'm a member of a group blog that's dying -- we haven't kept up the requisite pace of new material, and at long last our commentariat is deserting us. It's sad, but there's not much we can do to fix it, unless we each discover new reserves of time and energy for posting.
Kind of slow, alas (unless most activity is off the front page).
