It looks like Governor Sibelius signed the budget at the last minute, so I'm guessing the eagle will fly on Friday. The question is whether then Saturday I go out to play, and Sunday I go to church and pray...
So essentially, a bunch of right wing state legislators used the threat of no paychecks for state employees, including teachers and professors, to force the governor to sign a budget that cuts millions of dollars from education. That's what "fiscal conservatism" comes down to: promoting ignorance, proudly, as a matter of principle.
I think I know what that means -- good luck!
