Mingus, Pithecanthropus Erectus? I love it because it feels like walking through a crowded city and also like humans learning to walk, at the same.
Mingus at Antibes is my favorite of his.
I think I'd have to make a separate list just for vocal jazz. You know I love singers too, Bob. They deserve their very own list.
