David Shapiro's plane came in late. We ate at the India Palace as it was closing at 9. (Restaurant kitchens close early in Kansas.) Today it's the Nelson-Atkins museum in the morning and the seminar in the afternoon. The trick will be to preserve David's voice until the reading in the afternoon.
