diferentes partes del relato, separadas por blancos, se proponen como piezas permutables.”

I just picked up this amazing book, The Scarlet Tanager, by Bernadette Mayer.
Why do you think it's amazing? I thought it was mostly kind of awful, with some notable exceptions. Just curious... of course I'm not anti-Bernadette... but this book really didn't work for me...
Where did I see somewhere that someone had listed this book under the title "Indigo Bunting"? Or is there some kind of companion volume I don't know about?
I guess I was in a mood to be amazed by it. I liked the epigrams and the "poetry turned into prose" at the end resonated with me. As a stimulus to my own writing Bernadette usually works for me. And it seemed amazing in contrast with all the other books in the Border's poetry section yesterday. Granted I haven't read the whole thing and fully expect it to be uneven.
Yes, _Indigo Bunting_ is a separate book, a shorter book with small pages published by Zasterle Press. If you like one of the books you will like the other, which I do.
